All the sky in one room!
An exciting educational and discovery journey of the sky suitable for visitors of all ages, brought to life by the person who invented it. A young astrophysicist full of inspiration and a desire to share experiences and knowledge. Surprising and pleasant visit
We took the guided tour with Francesca. Very interesting; you can tell she likes it a lot, and she also likes to share her knowledge. We, in order, were at Ojos al Cielo, then we booked an outing to see the stars, and finally we visited the telescopes at Roque de los Muchachos. A Hidden Gem
We visited the museum 2 weeks ago. We arrived at opening time and opted for the guided tour (16€ each). We (my fiancée and I) were the only people on the tour and Francesca guided us through all the interactive exhibits whilst giving information and taking any questions. Francesca is extremely knowledgeable and very enthusiastic, she explains things in ways that make it very easy to understand. The tour takes approx 1.5 hours but, because we were the only people there, we were there for nearly double that time - and the time flew by. Great experience!! I took the tour, it really touched and amazed me.The host Francesca made a beautiful experience . I had to leave a bit early, so I have still a part to discover. Educational, interactive little museum with great guided tour
Today, while searching for possible activities in the rain, we accidentally came across the Los Ojos al Cielo museum. It is located in the tourist centre of Los Cancajo and deals with the subject of astronomy. Admission costs 9€, with guided tour 12€. We recommend a guided visit. The head Francesca is an astrophysicist, very nice and transferred her own enthusiasm for the universe to us when guided in easy-to-understand English. This very educational museum deserved more support from both the city and the local tour operators. The story of the stars.
Very passionate lady who gives the tour. Tells everything from experience and know-how. Go here right at the beginning of your holiday, and be inspired by what the night shows. The entrance ticket is valid for 3 months. Set aside 2 hours, because Francesca can tell a lot.
